Obtained ISO14001 certification

Just one year until the certification
On May 24, 2000 our president declared to start activities aimed to obtain an ISO14001 certification. Having organized an office of ISO committee, the company began with holding seminars for the top management and establishment of EMS, conducted by the consultant on the day.
It was first planned to obtain the certification in ten months, but in the final stage we found there were differences in consciousness among the division managers. Under the circumstances it took more time than scheduled to raise the level of common understanding among all, resulting in obtaining the certification on the same day next year coinciding with the date of declaration.

ISO14001 is an international standard for environmental management.

The environmental management is represented by the development of such corporate activities that associate an environmental policy and are planned for implementation on the basis of the policy.
It is aimed to reduce the environmental burdens (noticeable environment impacts) or risks caused by business activities, products or services and improve continuously the deed to avoid their occurrence.
It is the environmental management system that an entity voluntarily creates and puts into practice in order to implement this environmental management.
