OZONE LAMP is a UV lamp to produce ozone, available in a small-sized cold cathode
type and a large-sized hot cathode type.
SEN OZONE LAMP made of quartz glass is superior in its ozone generation capability to
the commercial ion lamps (ozone lamps) in the market.
The ozone produced by ultraviolet rays is clean without Nox contents unlike
the one produced by the silent electric discharge method, and therefore
is ideal for the ozone-applied equipment like sanitation in the food treatments
which makes the most of the sterilizing or deodorizing property of ozone,
or is well suited for creating comfortable environments.

Features
- The cold cathode type lamp has a long average life of 10,000 hours or more.
- Generates the CLEAN ozone which does not contain Nox.
- The lamp is made of quartz glass which enables a high ozone generating capability.
- Also available is a lamp to produce no ozone with the same standard, which provides a wider range of applications.

The ozone generating capability of a lamp varies depending upon various environmental conditions as well as its container sizes.
The most typical variation comes from an oxygen concentration, an air speed
and the size of space around the lamp where air flows.
As an example, Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show variations in the ozone concentration
and the generated amount arisen by air flow rates.
The inside diameter of the cylinder containing the lamp is 40mmØ in this case.
You can see that the ozone concentration declines rapidly as the air flow
rate (air speed) becomes larger.
The amount of ozone generated, however, increases slightly.

Table 3 shows the comparison of the ozone generating capabilities of various lamp models, based on the same air flow rate and the cylinder diameter. SEN LIGHTS prove to have higher capabilities than other ozone lamps available in the market. Take SL10UH of 10W for example. Despite the small wattage it generates two times as much ozone as a typical ion lamp of 15W does. Furthermore, its life expectancy exceeding 10000 hours makes it superior also with respect to economy.

| ppm(vol) | ppm(wt) | mg/litter |
| 510 | 843 | 1.00 |
| 1.0 | 1.65 | 0.196*10-2 |
Note 1: In case of using the unit of ppm, you need to state clearly on which standard the value is based, namely, the weight or volume standard which is different from each other.
Note 2: You should pay a special attention to the fact that the ppm and mg/liter values of the ozone concentration in water are the same and therefore are confusing
Lamp needs a power supply to light on it. Electronic ballast(Inverter) is available for an ozone lamp.
