HANDY CURERUV, like a hair dryer or a soldering iron, is an instrument you can hold by hand to illuminate objects as you like to cure and dry UV resins like paints or adhesives at a speed of seconds. Models of small beam-condensing type of 100W and plane diffusion type of 1000W are available from us.

Curing/Drying Speed
You can cure and dry resins at a speed of seconds. It leads to your attaining the enhancement of production efficiency and saving time to use a drying furnace.
Low temperature Treatment
The short drying time enables your treatment at a low temperature, which is suitable for products of low heat resistance.
Pollution-free and Simple
UV-type adhesives or paints cure by polymer reaction and do not worsen working environments by solvents. Furthermore, no curing will take place without exposure to the irradiation of ultraviolet rays. Therefore, it is easy to handle or operate, contributing to automating your production line.
Upgrading of Quality
UV-type adhesives and paints have a harder surface than heat dried resins and can hardly become damaged. As the feature creates an impression of high quality, the value of products is upgraded and performances like anti-solvent properties are improved.
Compact Design
The lamp house and the power supply are separated for easier handling.

In addition to the Handy Type models, we are ready to supply a wide variety of products including Spot Irradiator of light guide type, Desk Irradiator and Irradiator with Built-in Light Source Conveyer. Lamps are available with three types; high-pressure mercury lamps, metal hydride lamps and low-pressure mercury lamps. High-pressure mercury lamps are suitable for transparent resins, the metal hydride lamps for colored resins and low pressure mercury lamps for special purposes to avoid a temperature rise.

HOW TO USE THE STAND

Handy Type is supplied with a stand as part of the light source unit set.

1) The stand is useful for adhesion of tiny articles in a small quantity or for marking works.
2) You can use the stand as equipment for a performance test of resins.
3) You can also use the stand as a utility board while the unit is not in operation.

Ultraviolet rays are harmful to skins or eyes, and dangerous especially to eyes.
The light source unit lying down on the floor may cause a serious injury to persons nearby

The mercury lamp once turned out will require ten minutes for restarting. If you put it on the stand being lit, you can save time.
When you place the lamp on the stand, the edge of the light source unit is located about Light source unit on the stand 110 mm away from the bottom of the stand.
